BETTER RECRUITMENT KICK-OFF = BETTER CLOSING
What does it mean recruitment kick-off?
Recruitment kick-off means: Investing time at the beginning of the recruitment process and you will finish faster….
When recruiting, we are often in a hurry and when I send my questions to my clients before our kick-off meeting, sometimes they are just not ready with their thinking and they need additional time after our discussion. The reason is that I have questions that they did not think before or may challenge their views and that way we actually prolong the start of the process.
What to consider, when starting a new recruitment
To make it faster for you and everyone, I would like to summarize key things you shall think about when starting recruiting and creating role description and when preparing yourself to start the recruitment either with a recruiter/headhunter or even yourself alone.
To guide your thinking in a process of preparation for the kick-off meeting, download our template below. You may share it with your HR colleagues or recruiters, they will need it when helping you to recruit. The better you brief them for your recruitment case, the better they can help. And it will also guide your initial thinking about the role and main requirements for the future candidate.
A good recruitment kick-off pays off
So, download our Recruitment kick-off template here and use it well 😊
And remember: once you have the ideal profile ready, think of the real must-have requirements and the ones can you compromise (reality is that we rarely find a 100% match, ideally, it is 75%).
Based on these inputs it becomes very clear, where and how to recruit the right candidate and will help your recruiting partner to succeed.
All the best in your recruiting efforts!
